Delete your Duck account
This page explains how to delete your account and the data attached to it in Duck: Balance Game. You do not need to write to us or wait for approval — the app deletes the account itself, immediately.
From inside the app
- Open Duck and sign in, if you are not already signed in.
- Tap the settings icon at the top of the home screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is gone before the screen closes.
It cannot be undone. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription — see below.
If you cannot sign in
Email duckgamesglobal@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We reply within 30 days and delete the account once we can match the address to it. We ask for nothing else — no ID, no phone number.
What is deleted
All of it, at once, permanently:
- Your account itself — the sign-in record, your email address and your user id
- Your nickname, country and profile
- Every leaderboard entry, in all three modes, global and country
- Every recorded run and replay
- Your friend list, and the matching entry in every friend's list
- Your chat threads, including the messages the other side can see
- Your lives, entitlements and purchase records held by us
What is kept, and for how long
| What | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Server request logs, which contain no nickname and no email | Google Cloud Logging | 30 days, then discarded automatically |
| Your receipt for anything you bought | Apple or Google, and our payment processor RevenueCat | As long as tax and refund law requires. We cannot delete these; they are the store's records of a transaction, not ours |
Nothing in either row can be used to find you in Duck, because the account it belonged to no longer exists.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, and neither does deleting the app. Cancel it where you bought it:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Duck → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Duck → Cancel.
Cancel first, then delete the account.
